PROJECT OVERVIEW

FAT CITY is a puzzle game about planning and executing heists across New York City while evading capture by the police. Developed by HEAVY IRON STUDIOS, FAT CITY originally released in 2015 as digital download for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Wii U and PS Vita, then later ported to Nintendo Switch and PC.

MY POSITION

As an Associate Designer at HEAVY IRON STUDIOS, I designed and edited levels in the single-player progression mode of FAT CITY. While on the job for FAT CITY, I had to be self-sufficient in learning the level editor for the Unity game engine.

MY RESPONSIBILITIES

The single-player progression mode of FAT CITY contains 6 areas with 60 levels in total, of which I was responsible for 52 of them:

BROOKLYN

– designed and edited 13 levels

QUEENS

– designed and edited 11 levels

BRONX

– designed and edited 10 levels

STATEN ISLAND

– designed and edited 9 levels

UPPER MANHATTAN

– designed and edited 7 levels

LOWER MANHATTAN

– designed and edited 2 levels
